Meizu has announced the launch of Meizu M2 Note within just a short months after the release of it’s predecessor Meizu M1 Note on January. The budget level phone was launched during June in China and will be released in Malaysia starting this Thursday, 23rd July. Meizu will be releasing the 16 GB version while there are no information on the release of the 32 GB version.
The phone retained it’s Iphone 5C smiliar design with funky colors. Interestingly the brand new phone received some upgrades and downgrades compared to it’s predecessor. Notably, Meizu M2 Note now comes with a maximum of 128GB expandable microSD slot. Meizu M2 Note weights at 149g which is slightly heavier than M1 while is similar in size.

On the downside, the new M2 Note will be powered by a 1.3 Ghz octa-core processor instead of the previous 1.7 Ghz octa-core processor on M1 Note. M2 Note’s battery is also slightly less powerful at 3100 mAh. M2 Note runs on a 5.5” Full HD IGZO technology display ,2 GB RAM and ships with a default Flyme 4.5 (Android 5.0) Operating system. This device supports dual nano SIM with a single 4G enabled slot. M2 Note retains the same 13 MP back camera and 5 MP front camera. The phone will be available in choices of white, grey, pink and blue.
Price and release Date
The official retail price for Meizu M2 Note is RM 799 however the phone will be available for sale at Lazada starting 12:00am this Thursday at an affordable price of RM 699 with a bundled back case and tempered glass protection. The special price is only valid for a limited time period.
