MyCar Driver Malaysia

MyCar is the new E-Hailing application in Malaysia that has been in operation since February 1, 2018 and since that, about 57,000 drivers had been register with MyCar. 10% from 57,000 drivers are women.

MyCar is wholly-owned by Platform Apps Sdn Bhd. MyCar is developed through the latest platform technology in collaboration with information technology companies from the United States.

MyCar has a vision to balance the E-Hailing industry in Malaysia and become a more competitive and creative competitor with other industry players such as Grab. Even after Uber closed their operations in Southeast Asia from April 8, 2018, MyCar was determined to be second E-Hailing player after Grab and has received remarkable response among Uber drivers.

Mohd Noah, Platform Apps Sdn Bhd’s Chief Operating Officer, said almost two thousand more drivers were registered where MyCar had opened registration throughout Malaysia through registrars of appointed drivers throughout Malaysia.

They will open registration counter at MyCar Headquaters in Setia Alam daily until 11.00 pm to let MyCar driver register after office hours.

Consumers throughout Malaysia can orders MyCar and they are to serves their consumers. MyCar data has recorded over 5,000 drivers and 15,000 MyCar customers have been registered as users on the platform after two months of operation.

MyCar has started operations nationwide and has been booking in almost all major cities, especially in the Klang Valley, Johor, Kelantan and Sabah. MyCar offers the lowest price to KLIA for only RM 55 compared to another service which is cost about RM 65 excluding toll.

MyCar also fight for driver’s welfare aspect especially for those who have been terminated by other e-hailing platform provided as long as they are  not involved with criminal activity or any abuse of the application. For the profit sharing, MyCar adopted the concept of maximum profit sharing to the driver, which is 85 percent of the total fare for drivers and 15 percent for MyCar.

MyCar has incorporated Taxi services into the MyCar Platform to respond to the government’s call through the Public Transport Act (2017). MyCarCab is the newest option in the MyCar apps where customers can continue to book for taxi services only. While MyCarNow is a booking to find the closest and fastest vehicle to any taxi (MyCarCab) or personal vehicle (MyCarEconomy).

Here are six MyCar vehicle category options:

1. MyCar Economy – Sedan and compact cars such as Perodua Bezza and MyVi.

2. MyCar Premium – Class C cars and above start from cc1800 and above such as Toyota Altis, Honda Civic, Nissan Sylphy, Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and others.

3. MyCar MPV Compact – Compact MPV cars such as Perodua Alza, Proton Ertiga, Proton Exora, Toyota Avanza, Toyota Wish, Honda BRV, Nissan Livina and so on.

4. MyCar MPV Premium – MPV cars such as Toyota Vellfire, Toyota Estima, Toyota Innova, Nissan Serena, Honda Odyssey, Kia Carnival, Mazda Biante and the like.

5. MyCar Cab – Registered Legal Taxis.

6. MyCar Now – All of the above and closest options are the fastest.

MyCar also follows guidelines issued by government agencies such as SPAD (Land Public Service Commission) and JPJ (Road Transport Department). They also implement the S.O.S button to ensure the safety of the users and drivers from any criminal acts and so on.
